That's a Wrap!

We finished the year strong with some great events!

Our Fall Industry Tour in Lubbock was an amazing opportunity for our members and officers to get to know the HR departments at Sysco, Gallagher, and Lubbock County. While we were there, we were able to get a first-hand look into the current industry and how different departments operate to be as efficient as possible. Getting to know our community is one of our favorite activities, and we also enjoy going to the SHRM Lubbock Chapter Monthly Luncheons. Where we get to know HR professionals and create career connections.

We also held a Fundraiser with Yankee Candles. Our team has a great support system of friends, family, and alumni that made the event a success. We cannot thank everyone enough for the continued support of our organization and our efforts to bring student interest in the Human Resources industry.

Fall semester was all wrapped-up into one of our favorite nights of the semester-Senior Night! Where we have the opportunity to recognize and celebrate our graduating members and their accomplishments throughout their collegiate career. We started a fun new tradition to do a potluck, and everyone brought their favorite Thanksgiving dish to share with the others.
