Spring Industry Tour: Dallas Edition

This semester has flown by! Tech SHRM had a stellar opportunity to go on our Industry Tour to Dallas, Texas. Where our members had the opportunity to meet with Allstate, Delta Dallas, and Southwest Airlines. We toured each company and spent specific time in their Human Resources departments, where we received a first-hand account of what their role within the company is. It was a great opportunity for our members to ask questions and to gain a better understanding of what a career in Human Resources could look like. Not to mention all of the great networking that took place!

During our trip, we also had our First Annual Alumni Dinner. Where current members on the trip had the opportunity to network with former Tech SHRM members that are working within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It was valuable to everyone, especially our current members that had an opportunity to ask specific questions about navigating the industry, and tips to applying for jobs.

We are ready to hop hop hop into May graduation now!
