Harvest Happenings

With Fall in full-swing so was our team here at Tech SHRM! We had a great opportunity to host an event within the Rawls College of Business called “Discovering HR”. The event was open to students looking to gain a better understanding of the Human Resources industry, while sparking interest into the degree path available to pursue Human Resources. We had a great panel of speakers within the local HR industry discussing the topics of training, benefits, recruiting, compensation, and employee relations.

While “Discovering HR” was being a massive success in Lubbock, we had two members of our Executive Team representing us in Dallas at the HR Southwest Conference. Our officers Maggie and Courtney had a great opportunity to connect with Hr professionals and students from across Texas. While listening to talks on current topics and trends impacting HR.
